The left side of the beach is typically where most of the locals go. You can find people camping, relaxing in hammocks, or grilling on BBQ grills. The beach has grills available to cook on but many people bring their own portable ones.
Fajardo beach snorkelingThe best snorkeling can be found out in the areas where the waves are breaking. Wherever you see white caps....that';s where the reef is. In fact, there is actually a very long reef that stretches from one point of the beach on the right side all the way to the left side of Fajardo beach. It's a long reef, bout 10-30 feet deep. On calm days, its a great spot.
